Within a folder, you can keep email messages, calendars, contacts, and tasks. If you are using the Outlook mobile app, this is also the folder you see on your smartphone.
This is the place Outlook will look at when you are composing an email or when you want to send a meeting invite. In Outlook, the Address Book is the default folder. To allow non-members to send emails to the group, you can add them to a list of Trusted Senders that you'll see under the group's email address. Only members or trusted senders can send emails to the group. Every member of the group will be able to see the emails associated with that address. You can add as many contacts as you want to a list, but keep in mind that Outlook is not an email marketing app. Go to the upper left menu and click on New Contact > New Contact list To create a new list, go to the Outlook People page, or press the 'People' icon. It's important to note that the email addresses in a contact list are not connected to your saved contacts. Contact lists can also be referred to as distribution lists. In Outlook, a contact list allows you to send emails to a group of people at the same time. For that, you'll need to click on the 'People' icon on your app or site: You can create individual contacts in Outlook by manually entering someone's information.

We've made a separate section on how to import or sync entire contact lists. In this section, we'll focus on individual contacts. There are different ways to add contacts to Outlook. This will just add a (probably unnecessary) degree of complexity to your contact management strategy. If you've chosen Outlook as your main contact repository, don't add similar tools like Google Contacts or iCloud.
